What I build

Software for nonprofits

Online giving

One-off and monthly donations with Stripe, branded to your organisation.

Donor management

Every donor's history and follow-ups in one place, so nobody lapses for lack of a thank-you.

Volunteer tools

Sign-ups, shifts and reminders for volunteers, without spreadsheets.

Grant tracking

Applications, deadlines, reporting dates and outcomes for every grant.

Impact dashboards

Programme data turned into the numbers funders and boards ask for.

Member and supporter portals

Supporters manage their giving, details and preferences themselves.

AI, right now

Where AI genuinely helps

Small nonprofits do a lot with very few people. 2026 guides highlight donor retention, grant writing and volunteer coordination as where tools and AI help most, because most lapsed donors are simply never followed up in time.

I haven’t built for a nonprofit yet, so I won’t pretend otherwise. What I bring is the same building blocks I’ve shipped for real clients, shown below.

  • Timely donor follow-up

Thank-yous and next asks drafted at the right moment for each donor, reviewed by your team.

  • Grant writing support

First drafts of grant sections from your own programme data and past applications.

  • Volunteer coordination

Shifts filled and reminders sent automatically.

  • Reports from your data

Board and funder report drafts from the numbers you already collect.

Data, security and access

  • Supporter data handled under UK/EU GDPR principles, with consent preferences respected.
  • Payments through Stripe; card details never touch your servers.
  • Access by role for staff, volunteers and trustees.
  • People approve every message and application AI drafts.

How a project runs

  1. Call

A 30-minute call about what you need, who it is for, and what success looks like.

  2. Scope

A written scope: features, architecture, timeline, price range and risks.

  3. Build

Working increments you can click through, not a big reveal at the end.

  4. Ship

Live on your domain and hosting, with a handover so you know how it runs.

Questions

Common questions

Why custom instead of a donor CRM?

If one fits, use it. Custom tools suit organisations with unusual programmes, data that lives in several places, or a supporter experience they want to own.

Can it connect to our existing CRM or accounting?

Usually, through their APIs or exports. That's confirmed in the scope.

Is it affordable for a small charity?

Scope is kept to what makes the biggest difference first, at a fixed price agreed before any work starts.

How much does it cost?

A focused first version is a fixed-price project, scoped and priced after a 30-minute call (MVPs start from $3,000). Ongoing work can run on a monthly retainer.

Running donors and volunteers on spreadsheets?

A 30-minute call is enough to tell whether it fits, what the first version should include, and how long it takes.
